Senior Dylan Reid (Bethesda, Md.) has been named the New England Small College Athletic Conference Men's Soccer Player of the Week.
Reid, a senior defender, scored once in Bowdoin's 4-0 win over previously unbeaten Hamilton. Reid also anchored a backline that limited the Continentals to five shots. The Polar Bear defense has not allowed a goal in 492 minutes dating back to September 25 and Bowdoin is 4-0-1 in that span.
Bowdoin has matched its best-ever start after 12 games, equaling the 2010 team's 9-1-2 mark through a dozen games. The Polar Bears will play host to Colby on Wednesday afternoon at 3:00 p.m.
