The Bowdoin College women's golf team placed fourth of eight teams in the Classic Division of the Williams Fall Invitational last weekend at Taconic Golf Club.
Tournament Highlights
- Competing in the Classic Division of the event, the Polar Bears posted a two-day total of 667, improving nine shots as a team on day two to finish behind only York (643), Bates (661) and Wesleyan (666).
- Shivani Schmulen led the way for Bowdoin, finishing in a tie for sixth place with a two-day total of 159 (81-79) while Emilia Rose also grabbed a top-ten finish in ninth at 163 (84-79).
- Abbie Kaestle (13th, 167), Crystal Chong (22nd, 179) and Hailey Ryan (26th, 181) rounded out the Polar Bear entrants this weekend.
- Bowdoin will head to Vermont this weekend to compete in the George Phinney Classic hosted by Middlebury College.
