Seven different players had a goal for SMCC in the victory, with sophomore Ammelia Lunt (West Gardiner, Maine) getting the scoring started at the 2:59 mark with an assist from senior Paige Lord (Pittsfield, Maine). Senior Ryleigh Lord (Pittsfield, Maine) found first-year Mikayla Martorano (Gorham, Maine) just under 12 minutes later before Paige Lord added a goal of her own at 25:07. Sophomore Paige St. Pierre (Waterville, Maine) scored unassisted at 28:09 with first-year Emilienne Biddings-Augustine (New Gloucester, Maine) rounding out the first-half tally at 39:19.

Sophomore Mackenzie Farnham (South Portland, Maine) and first-year Chanelle McDonough (Gorham, Maine) added a pair of late goals for SMCC in the 54th and 58th minute, respectively. First-year goalkeepers Mia Pasciuto (Littleton, Mass.) and Grayson Soldati (Portland, Maine) each played 45 minutes to combine for the shutout with Pasciuto making two saves.

Coach’s thoughts:

“It was nice to see the ball go in the back of the net today and keep a clean sheet on the other end. This is a technically-gifted group; as we continue to gel and figure out player tendencies, we will find more success.“ – Head Coach Ethan Wells

Seawolves Stars of the Game:

Paige Lord: One goal, one assist

Pasciuto & Soldati: Two saves, shutout
