Southern Maine Community College to Offer Global Healthcare Studies with Travel to Amsterdam

Southern Maine Community College (SMCC) is offering a 9-day, 8-night Global Healthcare Systems study abroad opportunity with partner CIEE (ciee.org) to help students gain the knowledge and skills to live and work in a globally interdependent and culturally diverse world.

Travel to Amsterdam, Netherlands

  • Course: Global Healthcare – HLTH192
  • Dates: Offered during the Spring semester on the South Portland Campus with a travel component from March 10-March 18, 2023
  • Instructors: Norma Willis, Katharine Roy-Gosselin
  • Register by: October 1, 2022
In this course, students will explore the realms of global healthcare. The aim of the course is to introduce students to the fields of study within the science of public health both nationally and internationally.
