Amanda Darby, one of our NSO Orientation Leaders, is a double major in marine and environmental science with a minor in sustainability studies. The Shrewsbury, MA knows all too well about the anxieties that come along with starting your college experience.
"I want all incoming students to know that one thing they shouldn't worry about is meeting people at SJC with similar interests. Before I came to Saint Joe's I was so anxious about missing home. But I made sure to say yes to any experience that would help me meet people who had similar interests as me. It only took me a couple weeks into the semester to feel settled. Some of the best days I’ve had at SJC are game days. Whenever there's a game happening on campus it's so much fun to go with your friends and cheer on other teams." - Amanda Darby '23
