We are excited to announce that we are exploring the possibility of offering an Integrated Studies program, a non-degree certificate program for students with intellectual disabilities on our beautiful campus. This would be a 2-4 year program for students ages 18-26 who have had an IEP and have completed their high school experience (with a certificate or diploma) and now wish to pursue inclusive higher education.
We invite you to join us for a “Day of Exploration.” This is open to students with intellectual disabilities, their families, teachers, ed-techs, case managers, and more! We'll share our vision and plans, and ask for your ideas and input. We'll also have workshops about preparing students for the post secondary world. Students will have their own track - a combination of campus tour, scavenger hunt, with some self-advocacy skill building thrown in. We'll end the day with lunch and lawn games lakeside. For those who wish to stay after lunch, we'll offer campus tours and listening sessions for you to tell us what you think and to gauge your interest.
This day is free, but registration by June 15th is required. Please click the link below for more information and register today!
