On Sunday, Feb. 23, former Freeport High School standout Blaine Cockburn’s current college team, the Maine Black Bears, lost 10-3 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Citadel Bulldogs.

The game took place at Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Park. This was their third matchup against the Bulldogs this season.

The Black Bears’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 28 at 2:30 p.m. at Tucker Field at Barcroft Park against George Washington Colonials.
