Census Bureau: 81.4% of people in Cumberland County were old enough to vote in 2021

Of the 300,776 citizens living in Cumberland County in 2021, 81.4% were old enough to vote, equating to 244,793 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 118,084 were male, constituting 48.2%, and 126,709 were female, making up 51.8%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Cumberland County during 2021 was higher than the state average, which stands at 81.2%.
