The sixth-ranked William Smith women's lacrosse team rallied from an early deficit to defeat Bowdoin, 19-11, on Tuesday afternoon at the Poole Family Dome. The 15th-ranked Polar Bears fall to 2-2 with the loss as the Herons improve to 4-0 on the year.

- Bowdoin came out hot in the opening quarter, taking a 4-2 lead 11 minutes into the contest.
- Natalie Daniels scored just before the end of the opening quarter for William Smith, however, and the Herons rolled off four straight to regain the lead, 6-4.
- The hosts dominated the second quarter, but Bowdoin was able to stay within striking distance as a buzzer-beating goal by Sophia Sudano cut the lead to 9-6 at halftime.

- Sophia Sudano led Bowdoin with a three-goal, two-assist effort while Peyton Mulhern finished with four goals.
- Colleen McAloon also had a hat trick for the Polar Bears, who got eight draw controls from Emelia Krakora and four ground balls from Sudano.
- Izzy Cisneros (seven saves) played the opening half while Sophie Brett (no saves) and Sophia Rutman (three saves) played the third and fourth quarter, respectively.
