The 2023 United States Collegiate Ski & Snowboard Association (USCSA) Reynolds Division regular season is in the books and the Saint Joseph's College men's alpine ski team has claimed the USCSA Reynolds Division Championship for the first time in program history.

The Monks won six of the nine Division races held this winter and tallied 12 points, three points ahead of runner-up UMaine-Farmington, which won the other three events.

The USCSA Reynolds Division postseason accolades have also been released and five Saint Joseph's alpine skiers have captured honors.

Junior Liam Strobeck (Charlotte, Vt.), freshman Jack Price (Franconia, N.H.), and first-year Logan Davis (Naples, Maine) have earned First Team All-Division accolades while freshman Colin Rathbone (Groton, Mass.) and sophomore Jacob Morris (Woodstock, N.H.) are listed on the Second Team.

Strobeck takes home First Team honors for the third-consecutive season after registering four individual victories and 480 total points – the second-highest total in the Division - during his junior season. Price finished his rookie season ranked third in the Division with 422 points after posting one victory and three podium efforts overall. Davis rounds out the Monks' First Team honorees after notching three podium finishes and 381 place points, the fifth-highest total in the Reynolds Division.

Rathbone collects Second Team honors after posting one podium finish and 327 points and Morris earns the first All-Division award of his college career after tallying 301 points and a third-place effort in the slalom race at Titcomb Mountain on February 5th.

As a team, the Monks posted 14 podium finishes – five wins, three second-place efforts, and six third-place times – this winter. Six different individuals found the podium with Strobeck leading the team after notching four victories and a runner-up performance.

For the second time in as many seasons, both SJC teams will compete in the USCSCA Regionals, which take place this Saturday (giant slalom) and Sunday (slalom) at Sugarloaf. Races are set to begin at 9:30 AM both days.
