Southern Maine Community College (SMCC) women's basketball won by a convincing margin against Paul Smith's College (PSC) in the second and final regular season meeting between the sides. The game was played on Saturday, January 21, with a final score of 88-53.

The Seawolves gained an early lead and proceeded to run the show for the rest of the game, outscoring PSC in every quarter. As a team, the Seawolves missed only two of their 17 free-throws, far outscoring their season free-throw average.

First-Year Jaylyn Bartolome (Sanford, Maine) scored 15 points and ripped six rebounds. Junior captains Ashleigh Mathisen (Portland, Maine) and Tara Flanders (Windham, Maine) filled the stat sheet scoring 18 and 19 points respectively for the Seawolves.

PSC's top players of the game were Jordan Louis, with 14 points, and Jayla Gray with 20 points and 11 rebounds.

With this win the Seawolves record improves to 12-4 overall and 7-1 in the Yankee Small College Conference play.
