The Bates College men's golf team came away with a four-stroke victory over Bowdoin to claim the 2022 CBB Men's Golf Championship Saturday at Martindale Country Club.
Tournament Highlights
- The Bobcats took the crown with a team total of 317, edging Bowdoin (321) with Colby a distant third (353).
- Jack Barned tied for medalist honors, posting a 76 (+4), including birdies on two of the final three holes to surge into a tie for first place.
- Ned Dean carded a 78 to finish in third place overall.
- George Fahey (83), Liam Jachetta (84), Favian Busnawi (86) and Oscar Wen (87) rounded out the Bowdoin participants.
- Bowdoin will close out their fall campaign on October 15-16 at the NEIGA Championship in Brewster, Mass., at the Captains Country Club.
