We are pleased to share that Peter Wallis '06 will have work featured in the Everything But the Kitchen Sync group show opening Saturday, July 16 at La Luz De Jesus Gallery (4633 Hollywood Blvd, Los Angeles, CA) before also appearing in a solo exhibition at the Lois Lambert Gallery at Bergamot Station Art Center (2525 Michigan Avenue Building E3 Santa Monica, CA) from November 16, 2022, until January 7, 2023.
Wallis is a graduate of our Illustration program and also double minored in Art History and Drawing. He has an interdisciplinary practice and teaches visual arts at independent schools and nonprofit arts organizations around the country. By integrating interests in illustration and printmaking, Wallis’ approach to teaching trends in new media is grounded in an appreciation of traditional art techniques and practices.
After being awarded his BFA from Maine College of Art & Design in 2006, Wallis also completed an MFA focusing on printmaking, graphic novels, and peace studies at Goddard College.
