It is with great sadness that SMCC Athletics pays its condolences to the passing of long-time baseball coach and SeaWolves' Hall of Famer Phil Desjardins. Desjardins, who passed away on June 21, made significant contributions to the campus community, the baseball program and it's alumni during his 16-year tenure.
Associate Dean of Athletics and Alumni Affairs Matt Richards commented, "Phil Desjardins was an outstanding coach but more than that he was an outstanding man. He cared about kids first and baseball second. He was a great representation of our institution and will certainly be missed."
