477e

On April 5th, 2022 at approximately 3:25 PM, the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office responded to 7 Main Street in the Town of Gray for a single vehicle crash into a building. Upon arrival to the scene, deputies from the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office observed a single vehicle had left the roadway right and collided with the business front of Goody’s Pizzeria and the Atlantic Real Estate Network.

58-year-old Kenneth Plummer was operating his red 2013 GMC Terrain sport utility vehicle southbound on Main Street when he choked on a piece of food, causing him to leave the roadway right striking both businesses. The collision caused minor structural and cosmetic damages to both buildings and his vehicle was towed from the scene due to disabling damage. No injuries were reported at the scene.

The Gray Fire Department assisted the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office at the scene. Main Street remained open; however, traffic delays effected traffic for approximately (1) hour during the on scene investigation.

This incident remains under investigation by the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office.
