Southern Midcoast Maine Chamber Trail Walk: Member Networking Series

3274e

Chamber Members, interested in meeting up with fellow members to enjoy some of our shared outdoor spaces? These small group walks are great ways to connect and build relationships while also taking a break from your workplace to recharge in a beautiful setting.

Join us on Friday, April 1st at 2pm for a walk at George Mitchell Field in Harpswell.

Spring is officially here, which means better weather is on the horizon. All the more reason to schedule some fresh air into your week. These events give you an opportunity to do just that while offering much more:

  • This is about strengthening our community. These trail walks present low Covid-risk ways to connect with fellow members more frequently throughout the month. Community is all about building relationships, and we want to offer you more chances to do just that.
  • Are you Zoomed-out? Walking in the woods is revitalizing, physically and mentally, which we need all the time, not just in Covid times.
  • We need breaks from our desks. Fresh air, trees, and good conversation is a recipe for new inspiration to take back to the office.
  • This is the land where we live and work. Taking time to appreciate our shared home gels community. And we want to elevate the work of our local land trusts because these preserved lands and trail networks are a gift for our community.
These organized walks are open to SMMC members and led by Claire Papell, Chamber Coordinator. Spots are limited (6-8) to be mindful of parking availability and to create a small group experience.
