Kaplan University-Maine Campus enrolls 390 undergrads

At Kaplan University-Maine Campus, 82 percent of undergraduate students are nontraditional students - age 25 or older - and 82 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private for-profit institution in S Portland enrolled 503 students in fall 2018, including 390 in undergraduate and 113 in graduate programs, data shows. 5.4 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

67 percent of undergraduates are residents of Maine, and 33 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (72 percent) and Hispanic or Latino (3 percent).
