Former Bridgton Academy standout Peter Gellene and his current team, the Catholic Cardinals, were defeated 74-60 by the Tufts Jumbos in the NCAA Division III Basketball Tournament on Saturday, March 7.

Cousens Gymnasium hosted the 6 p.m. tipoff, marking the Cardinals’ first tournament meeting with the Jumbos.
