North Yarmouth Fire Rescue Employee Spotlight: Lt. Adam Foster

This week’s Employee Spotlight

This week we are highlighting Lt. Adam Foster. Lt Foster has been on North Yarmouth Fire Rescue since December of 2019. Lt Foster holds FF I & II certification, Fire Instructor I & II certification, is a hazardous materials technician, holds if fire officer I and II, holds in Associates Degree in Fire Science, and is a licensed Maine paramedic. Adam is both a Per-Diem member and a call member

Adam’s is an acting Lieutenant for Scarborough Fire Department assigned to the Oak Hill Fire Station for his full-time career. Adam recently received the Chief’s Excellence Award at Scarborough Fire Department for all he contributes to the department and the Fire Service. 

On his off days Adam can be found spending his time with his wife and children here in North Yarmouth. Lt Foster’s Call sign is Lt. 506. Lt Foster is in charge of our training committee and is responsible for E-52, S-54, and Tank 53. Lt Foster is currently assisting with instruction of our Basic Firefighter Program in which we have 5 members attending. When you see Lt. Foster in town, please thank him for his service and dedication to the town of North Yarmouth.
