0Comments

Beginning Monday, May 16, 2022, the City’s contractor, D&C Construction, will resume work in Warren Avenue between Riverside Street and 425 Warren Avenue as part of final work associated with the Warren Avenue Storm Drain Replacement project.  The contractor will be on-site completing project punch-list items which includes the final surface paving and striping of the roadway.  This final project work is anticipated to last approximately 1 month.  Motorists should expect delays when driving through the work zone and are encouraged to seek alternate routes around the project area. Please watch out for signage and drive slowly through the work zone.  For more information about the project, please visit the project website.

Important info for motorist:  The contractor will be implementing lane shifts in order to complete this work while keeping both inbound and outbound lanes of Warren Avenue open.  There may be times during this final work between 9:00am and 3:00pm where the contractor will need to reduce traffic to one lane of stop and go traffic.  Access to local businesses and residential streets will be maintained during the project.

Seek alternate route, if possible, to avoid delays

Motorists are urged, if possible, to seek alternate routes into and around this area during this time period.
